2019 Suwannee River Jam auditions kick off tomorrow night!
The first round of auditions for the 2019 Suwannee River Jam
begin tomorrow night, January 11, at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and
Campground. This evening of incredible live entertainment from some up and
coming country artists is the first step in their journey to play at the 2019
Suwannee River Jam.
Beginning at 7pm in the Music Hall, 14 talented solo artists and duets will take the stage to play, sing, and perform to the best of their abilities for the opportunity to perform at the South’s premiere Country Music and Camping Festival, May 1-4, 2019.
Each artists or pair will perform two, one song rounds while the panel of judges offer critiques, suggestions, and scores based on performance criteria.
Performing will be; Zachary Landis, Nolan Hamm, Diamond Dixie, M.T Millet, Amanda Gilbert, Reginald Stacy, Sarah Trimm, Brandon Adams, Kyle Brigham, Brooke Spencer (Tabor), Sadie Miller, Katie O, Stephen Quinn & Gabe Bullard, Cheyenne Brigham.
Doors open at 6pm and admission is free! This is an awesome chance to say you saw them first!
If you are an experienced country artist, have a country duo or band that can perform on stage for at least 20-30 minutes and would like to audition, please go to https://www.suwanneeriverjam.com/contests/ and sign up for one of our remaining dates at the Jam contest site. Those performing will sing two songs (in two sets) at the auditions but will be required to perform up to 20 minutes during the Jam if selected. All solo or duo audition winners will return March 8 for the finals where those moving forward to the SRJ 2019 will be chosen that night.
Solo and duos who do not win in this first audition may sign up for the Feb. 16 audition at the Steinhatchee Fiddler Crab Festival, the only other solo and duo audition, if there are openings. Bands may sign up for the bands only audition Feb. 8 at the SOSMP, the Steinhatchee audition Feb. 16 or the March 8 audition at the SOSMP for bands. Also, all solo and duo finalists will audition one last time March 8 at the SOSMP and those who will perform at the SRJ 2019 will be selected that night.
